The Before Picture

So - what shall I do with it? It actually feels softer than I expected so actually using it is a possibility. I don't know how much yarn there is, but I would think probably 2 skeins of lt blue here and 2 skeins of dark. Oh, and there's probably more in the stash boxes somewhere.

i want to crochet... those are beautiful. i think you should continue with the blanket... you could use it as a throw, lap blanket or use it as decoration... wow, that is so neat! i want to learn...

I made ChildHood with those very colors for my friend's son (I believe it was even the old Cotton Ease). It was SUPER cute, complete with little yellow ducky buttons. :-) I made the littlest size, and it still didn't fit him until he was 6 months. I bet you could easily get it out of two skeins, and maybe even a matching little hat to go with...

I love the colors of your blanket --- and totally understand your frustration with crocheted squares. I can never get them the same size either...so I try to play with 2 sticks instead of a hook!

for knitted ones. All of the patterns are CO38. Done with the same size needles and yarn you should get equal sized blocks. Sure it says dishcloths, but couldn't you just imagine a duckie square blanket... oooo or frogs? That, and the dishcloth patterns are made to be viewed from either side. :D
