Rhinebeck Rhinebeck Rhinebeck!

It's tomorrow! How did it get to be tomorrow? How can it possibly be here already? It seems like just yesterday I was looking at all the pictures from Rhinebeck last year and making Paul promise that if we moved to the northeast, he had to take me to Rhinebeck. Well as Paul is a man of his word, since I reminded him at every opportunity for the past year, we are going to Rhinebeck. Although I suspect Paul is going for the wine, since what with my "condition" we are short of wine here in Chez Pregnant.

Speaking of pregnant (as though I have needed an excuse to talk about this for the last month) I am so so so close to the end of this first trimester that supposedly will end some day. For anyone keeping score at home, we are at or near the 12th week, which is the end of the third month if you think a month is 4 weeks and therefore a pregnancy is 10 months. Since there are a few different ways to count this beautiful time in my life.... or whatever they call it today..... I am not sure which day I can expect to feel the weight of a 24/7 hangover lifting. I will let you know. But I will say this: the prospect of cleaning out the nursery and rearranging the yarn stash and shopping for cloth diapers and finding clothes and let's not even talk about the part with the pushing .... well, it doesn't seem completely impossible. Also, I left the house every day this week. That is astonishing.

So Rhinebeck.

Rhinebeck, Rhinebeck, Rhinebeck.

I decided it would be fun to play Stitchy McYarnpants's Rhinebeck Blogger Bingo. So these are the people on my card:

Andrea - Soapbox (

Anjeanette - PURLEWE (

Bethe - Insaknity (

Brooke - Missy B (

Christina - Knitting Goddess #9 (

Cynthia - CynCyn (

Debi - Wild and Wooly Fibers (

Fuchsia Lucia - Rhymes With Fuchsia (

Isela - Purling Sprite (

Jenna - Cinemaknits (

Jenny - Eat.Knit.Sleep. (

Judy - smatterings (

Karen - Musings of a (mostly) Self-Taught Knitter (

Kirsten - Through The Loops! (

Marcy - Habetrot (

Martha - Martita Rampage (

Mary Beth- Alpaca Addict (

Paula - Hired Hands (

Sandy - Sandy's Knitting (

Sarah - One Stitch Short (

Stephannie - And She Knits Too! (

Vicki - Knitorious (

Paul says that since he got his hair cut a little short, he will likely be wearing his orange hat.

So Squares, don't be shy! Orange hat!! I think I will be bringing my bright yellow bag from knitty that says, "I have needles and I'm not afraid to use them." If you can't take a threatening knitting bag to Rhinebeck, where can you take it? Certainly not on a plane. I mean, can you imagine?!? Ha. Anyway.

Hi! I'm on your card! I'm about to post what I'll be wearing so I'll be easier to spot. Check in with my blog a little later today.

I will be avoiding all orange hats just to make it that much harder for you to find me. (Just kidding!) Can't wait to meet you!
