When my phone is on and I get a call that isn't answered, my phone kindly displays that I have, indeed, missed a call. If the caller leaves a message, I get a different display first and it vibrates.
Due to magic, or gnomes, or whatever, all I've gotten lately are missed calls and I didn't think anything of it. I knew I had one voice mail out there, but no one else ever mentioned leaving a message. So imagine my surprise yesterday when I have 13 new messages from the past 2 weeks!! There's all kinds of stuff on there, and I feel like a total heel. Messages from Rhett (Why aren't you up yet? Oh well, I'll let your voicemail alert wake you up.) and Paul's mother (I'll be home in a few minutes, be ready to go!) and Paul's father (I have a gift for Paul, can I stop by in the morning?). Luckily the worst thing that happened was Paul's dad suprised me when I was still wearing pajamas (not a big deal). So, take heed!

This crap happens w/ Steve's phone all the time, too. It's completely uncalled for (ha ha ha).
Sometimes I think my cell phone is both the best and the worst thing that has every come down the path. Hey - at least you were in your pajamas and not your birthday suit! :)
