Sometimes I have issues!

I'm just going to put this out there, because these are The Internets and I can't imagine anything more out there -

I am not looking for a job. Please, don't call me and ask if I have found one. I have not found a job because I am not looking for a job.

I am lucky. I am living the dream. I go to the grocery store a lot. I study things. I look out for my husband's relatives. I am not lazy, unfulfilled, or wasting anything.

Isn't it funny sometimes how the people with whom you share the most chromosomes somehow also have no idea who you are?

Here, look! I'm an artist!

Liquor before beer, never fear.
Beer before liquor, never been sicker.
Beer before wine, you'll have one hell of a hangover.

You know, when I dreamed that up at 8:30 this morning when I woke up and coldn't get back to sleep no matter how hard I tried, it ended differently and rhymed. The gist is the same.

So I have a headache. So my mother called and gave me some crap about how I never call, and then reinforced all the qualities that make me not want to call. Clearly I shouldn't answer the phone when I have a headache. Also, please be advised that Chili's does by one get one free beers on tap.

I'd love to show you all some pictures of my latest knitting escapades, but we're going to the dad-in-law's house for dinner and we have to leave soon. I bought the supplies and started Odessa yesterday. So far I have 150 beads on a string and about 50 stitches cast on. Other projects lurking in my tote bag include Paul's Trekking sock and Clapotis and a scarf and some cotton for a dishcloth if I get bored with every other project in the bag. Don't judge! We could be gone a while!
