As the Heel Turns...

I can't believe I'm the first to say that. I can't be, right? Right??

Anyway, the Fuzzyfeet. Here is #1:

In case you are wondering, it is 13 inches long. Not that I measured it out of sheer awe at the giant sock. Because I totally did.

And Fuzzyfoot #2:

The heel has turned! I picked up my stitches along the gusset (I think? The pattern is too far away...), knitted 2 rounds and went to bed. Funky Llama has conquered the sock. Foot. Thing. Whatever. I want to have them done this weekend because Paul and I are going to S-burg to watch the USC game, and the same people saw us last week with only the one footthing completed and I want them to see the finished product. Because I'm a dork like that.

They are going to be BEAUTIFUL!! I can't wait to see them on Saturday! :) I made GREAT strides on my dish cloth last night. I should be finished with it by Saturday and ready to start a new project. I was told to make a scarf for myself before making one for the husband b/c I needed the practice, but I am afraid that gift giving occasions might pass before I finish his... I mean, there is always Vday I guess... What do you think?

You can ALWAYS gift a work in progress to an immediate family member. Just stop knitting and wrap it. Then when they open it, tell them it's theirs but you're just not done yet. At least... that's what I do.

Stephanie, the Fuzzy Feet look great. And I love the color!

And I'm with you on gifting works in progress. I am afraid that is how my mother's Christmas sweater is going to be. Me of the slow knitting. Well, the neglectful knitting, in this case!
